A few minutes later, he carried a pair of boots to me and said:

"Don't worry!" I took them over and put them on my feet and then walked away.
A few hours later, I came back from delivery and got in our garden centre with heavy stepping.

初中一年级英语故事:The Hare and the Tortoise 龟兔赛跑
A HARE one day ridiculed the short feet and slow pace of the Tortoise, who replied, laughing: "Though you be swift as the wind, I will beat you in a race." The Hare, believing her assertion(断言,主张) to be simply impossible, assented to(同意) the proposal; and they agreed that the Fox should choose the course and fix the goal.
On the day appointed for the race the two started together. The Tortoise never for a moment stopped, but went on with a slow but steady pace straight to the end of the course. The Hare, lying down by the wayside, fell fast asleep. At last waking up, and moving as fast as he could, he saw the Tortoise had reached the goal, and was comfortably dozing after her fatigue(疲劳) .
Slow but steady wins the race.

初中一年级英语故事:Fighting Fish
The fighting fish are liked by most customers, but they are not easy to keep, then they are always fighting each other. So, we kept them separately, even use thick paper to stop them to see each other.
One time, a member of staff put a fighting fish in another fish tank, the other fish attacked the fighting fish as a team, when I found out he was nearly to die. I took it out and put in a separate tank to rescue.
TOM had told me a bloody story about fighting fish.

After that the male looking after the eggs, wait for the babies to come out and grow up. After the baby fighting fish grew up, they will kill their father and ate him.
