Let It Go 创作背景

这首歌在艾莎女王离开她的王国之后，独自一人在冰天雪地的世界里开始创造她的新王国时所演唱。歌曲同时表现艾莎女王了解自己不再需要隐藏自己的能力，而能够重新开始自由使用这项能力。《Let It Go》由美国百老汇歌手及演员伊蒂娜·门泽尔演唱，并在美国权威音乐排行榜公告牌中蝉联冠军数周，创下迪斯尼自2000年来动画片的最好成绩。该作品还获第86届奥斯卡金像奖最佳原创歌曲奖。2014年3月，微博上出现了一个中国26地方言混合版。

《Let It Go》首先由Kristen Anderson-Lopez以及Robert Lopez为该部电影作曲。该团队从迪士尼的其他电影取得灵感，例如《小美人鱼》、《美女与野兽》以及其他的歌手包括阿黛尔，Aimee Mann，Lady Gaga，艾薇儿·拉维尼以及卡洛尔·金。虽然这首歌是写给该电影中的重要角色艾莎女王，然而一开始该角色是一个反派。导演 Chris Buck 与 Jennifer Lee 后来将艾莎改写成正派主角。

作词作曲者Anderson-Lopez 以及 Lopez 特别为 Idina Menzel 写出这首歌，考量到她是“百老汇剧院”中拥有最壮丽的声音之一，以及音乐剧当中深具特色”，在作曲的过程中，也考量过她的音域下制作本歌。
