英文简历制作注意事项

1、简历不需太豪华。简历最好也不要制作得太“另类”,一两张纸,能说明情况就好。用人单位对于大学生一般都有一个“形象预设”,大部分单位还是喜欢朴实一点的毕业生,所以说,如果你的简历太过花哨,反而会给用人单位留下不好的印象。

2、双语简历两页纸即可。正如同中文的一页纸简历,翻译过来的英文部分,也是一页纸就行了。无论是国企还是私企,甚至是外资企业,在投递的时候都需要将中文部分放置在前面,英文部分殿后,顺序千万别弄混了。

3、少用虚词和叙述性的语言。在语言方面,中国的毕业生在写英文简历的时候有这样一个通病:喜欢用叙述性的语言。也许是在考四级、六级时英语作文写惯了,在描述自己的时候,他们也总是像在写记叙文,“First”“Besides”写上一大段。与其这样,还不如一条条列出来,让用人单位看起来一目了然,因为他们阅读一份简历的时间不会超过30秒。还有,在用到和职业相关的英语的时候,一定要注意,否则会让用人单位觉得你不够专业———翻翻大学里教的《专业英语》课本,这个问题应该不难解决。
