一、be动词用法口诀:“我”用am,“你”用are,is用于“他、她、它”。
注解:(1)am和I连用,如:I am a student. Am I a good student?
(2)are和you连用,如:You are a good student. Are you a teacher?
(3)is和he, she, it或能用“he, she, it”来代替的词来连用,如: He/She/It is in the classroom. Is he/she/it in the classroom? This/That is a pencil. Is this/that a pencil?

二、含有be动词(am, is, are)的句子
1、 肯定句:人/物 + am/is/are + 其它.
I am a student.
You are a good student.
He/She/It is in the classroom.
This/That is a pencil.

2、 否定句:人/物 + am/is/are + not + 其它.(在肯定句中的am/is/are后面加not) I am a student. → I am not a student.
You are a good student. → You are not a good student.
He/She/It is in the classroom. → He/She/It is not in the classroom. This/That is a pencil. → This/That is not a pencil.
My father is a teacher. → My father is not a teacher.
注解:is not可以缩写成isn’t,are not 可以缩写成aren’t,am not不能缩写。
3、 一般疑问句:Am/Is/Are + 人/物 + 其它? (把肯定句中的am/is/are移到句子前面)
I am a student. → Are you a student?(I改成you, am改成are)
You are a good student. → Am I a good student? (you改成I, are改成am) He/She/It is in the classroom. → Is he/she/it in the classroom?
