good afternoon, my dear teachers and my fellow students. i am very glad to stand here and give you a speech. my topic is about“Healthy Diet” what do you think is the most important thing in our life?
There are many people who think that wealth is better than health. I used to
think so until one day I read a story about Howard Hughes. He was an American
billionaire who got anything he wanted. However, in the last twenty years of his life, his health began to deteriorate and he was miserable. He had the best doctors and nurses. However, he could still find no relief. I realized that health is worth all the money in the world. If you have millions of dollars but your health is poor, you will not be able to do what you want to do. So I would like to say don’t hurt yourself trying to make money instead of taking care of your body and be happy with what you do have. Health is more important.
So I think heath is very important. People can do nothing if they are always in poor health, let alone happiness. No matter we are rich or not, we can not ignore the importance of health.
Today, many people can't be in good health,So,how to keep healthy is very important. I'll say something about food and health. More and more people are realizing the importance of good health. But how to keep fit? In my opinion, a
healthy diet is very important for your health. Do you know what a healthy diet is? Firstly, you should have a balanced diet. You may not like eating vegetables. You think they are not so delicious. But vegetables have a lot of nutrition. They are very good for your health. Secondly, you’d better eat regular meals. You need to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. Regular meals throughout the day give you enough energy to carry out your daily activities. Never skip breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day. Eat bigger meals earlier in the day. Don't have a big dinner. Thirdly, most of you like eating snacks. They may affect your appetite. Besides, too many snacks make you fat.
In a word, if you want to be healthy, you should keep a healthy diet. It is time for us to do something now, I think. That is, we should eat the right kinds of food,
and do not eat any of the unhealthy food! Let us do it right away to keep health! Let's do it instead of talking about it. That's all I want to say to you
that’s all. thanks!

good afternoon, my dear teachers and my fellow students. i am very glad to stand here and give you a speech. my topic is about“health is the most important to us.” what do you think is the most important thing in our life?
some people think time is the most important thing in our life. some people think money is the most important thing in our life. some people think friendship is the most important thing in our life. but i think health is the most important thing in our life.
we live in this world, maybe there are many beautiful things. we can get something again and again, such as love, friendship, money and so on. but if we lose health, we can never get it back again. if you are in poor health, you will not feel these things and the world is always gray in your eyes. it’ s really serious.
just as a saying goes, “where there is health, there is hope. where there is hope, there is everything. ”so we can see that health is above everything. but how can we keep in good health? as we know, health lies in a good habit.healthy food and water are important for us to keep healthy. different food helps us in different ways.what’s more, get up early and keep doing exercise in the morning every day.
besides these, taking exercise helps us build a strong body. it is the most important. so having a healthy lifestyle is very important for everyone. there’s an old saying gose like this “an apple a day, keeps the doctor away.” it’s true. once you lost health ,you will get nothing. so,my dear friends ,please realize that health is the most important for us .
that’s all. thanks!

good afternoon, my dear teachers and my fellow students. i am very glad to stand here and give you a speech. my topic is about“Healthy and emotion” what do you think is the most important thing in our life?
Our emotional world has a remarkable power to determine not only our mental health, but also how our physical well-being.
Here are five positive emotions that have been shown to improve physical health and prevent disease.
Optimism may protect the heart.
A growing body of research has suggested that cultivating this quality can have a protective effect on the heart. According to a 2012 review of literature, a number of studies have shown that people with optimistic personalities are at a reduced risk of cardiovascular events. Optimism's benefits for physical health also extend beyond heart health. Here are a few other ways that a sunny disposition may improve health outcomes, including improved immune system function and increased longevity.
Experiencing awe reduces inflammatory markers associated with autoimmune disease.
Research has shown that experiences of art, religion and philosophy are the most common experiences that evoke a sense of awe -- that sense of wonder and connection to something larger than ourselves.
According to new research from the University of California at Berkeley, awe is not only pleasurable but also enormously beneficial for one's physical and mental health. The Berkeley study found that those who had recently experienced awe had lower levels of cytokines, inflammatory markers that, in chronically high levels, have been implicated in the development of autoimmune diseases, as well as other health problems including heart disease, Alzheimer's and depression. This suggests that awe promotes healthier levels of cytokines and may prevent disease.
Compassion and care for others can improve vagus nerve function.
Positive psychologist Barbara Frederickson has conducted research on the effects of lovingkindness meditation (LKM), a traditional Buddhist practice that involves meditating on love and extending compassion to oneself and a progressively large group of others. Frederickson found just six weeks of LKM training to have a positive impact on the vagus nerve, which extends from the brain stem to the heart, helping to regulate emotions as well as bodily systems including the cardiovascular and digestive systems.
Gratitude may also benefit heart health and immune system function.
Like optimism, an "attitude of gratitude" -- an appreciation and feeling of thankfulness for the blessings one has in life -- carries significant mental and physical health benefits. Gratefulness, like optimism, has been linked with improved immune health, and has also been shown to improve sleep quality. Gratitude may also improve health and well-being in a variety of waysinsofar as it lowers stress levels -- stress being one of the main contributing factors to many chronic diseases.
Self-compassion improves health-related behaviors.
People who cultivate kindness towards themselves are also kinder to their bodies, potentially helping them to prevent or manage a range of negative physical and mental health outcomes. A 2013 study published in the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin examined the relationship between self-compassion, reactions to illness, and a range of health-related behaviors, finding that self-compassionate people sought medical attention sooner for symptoms that they were experiencing than people who were lacking in self-compassion. Self-compassionate people also tended to be less depressed about health problems they were experiencing, and also to take a more proactive approach towards their own health.
That's all. Thank you.
