有关学生压力的英语作文篇1:Pressure may not be the source of power for students
Nowadays, students are facing much pressure than ever before. The explosion of knowledge as well as the population, are throwing great pressure on most students. Throughout our school lives, we are facing the same issue----pressure, which might vary in degree in different periods.
When a child begins to go to school, he is likely to get comparison. Ranking is essential to students, even in kindergarten. Kids are learning all kinds of things, which seems to be a competition between different families. However, the so-called all-round development is robbing children’s freedom and put great pressure on them . I know a little girl who always gets nearly full score in English but is still forced to have many lessons during the holiday. She once ended her composition with “what a happy Saturday!” But I knew she wasn’t really happy. She had been taught to wrote in that way. I can’t imagine how many kids are living their school lives like this, but I am sure she couldn’t be the only one. Little time for fun she may have, she’s not lonely in the big city, as a busy bee.
While in some poor areas, students are also studying under great pressure. “Knowledge can change the destiny of a family!” They are taught to study hard the first year in shool. As they grow up, they are taught that entering a good university means a bright future. But for the bright future, they have to face great pressure, from the school, the society, their classmates and parents. They are taught not to be satisfied with what they achieve, because they can’t imagine how outstanding those children in big cities are. “Time is the only thing
you can use to make up our shortage or resources.” “If you don’t push yourself, you will never know how excellent you are.” Some students can make good use of pressure, while others have mental problems. The great pressure stop some from focus on study. They don’t have confidence in themselves and become negative. When the pressure is more than they can stand, sinking, depression, and even suicide arise.
Most students find university lives quite different from what they have expect. Universities are not heaven but another big challenge in students’ lives. “Only when I entered university did I begin to miss my Middle school life.” This is the voice of some students. All the pressure we faced in high school is following us, which is even greater. Besides that, we have to consider more about our future. We gradually realized that a good university doesn’t mean a good employment, which doesn’t indicate a bright and happy future, either. Poverty and the lack of social experience may deprive a student’s confidence. If university students fail to face the pressure properly,
Many students ,younger or older, living in big cities or in the villages, are facing great pressure. We can’t change the reality, the fierce competition and the explosive population in a short time, so we must learn to adjust ourselves and change pressure into power.

As we all know, pressure is a major character of our modern life .It is so natural that we have no way to avoid it but to accept .Some may suppose that college students are the ones who have the least pressure,on the contrary ,we college students are confronted with different kinds of pressure.
The pressure is so heavy on us that we can hardly breathe. 有关学生压力的英语作文篇4:大学生压力利与弊
Graduates’ pressure in finding jobs Nowadays, more and more university graduates complain that graduation does not equate to employment. They experience great difficulties finding satisfactory jobs. What is the cause of this phenomenon In my opinion, there are four causes: First, graduates lack experience. They spend most of their time at school studying academic subjects and lack relevant job training. Only after graduation do they realize it’s hard to find jobs. Second, competition among graduates grows more bitter and more bitter and bitter. The supply of university graduates exceeds social demand. This results in a decreased chance for any individual graduate to find a job. Third, some students don’t study hard. Some of them skip classes just because they have no interest in certain subjects. Some play computer games or pursue other interests. Some sleep in class or in the library. Then they leave the sheltered environment of the university campus, to discover they don’t have adequate knowledge to apply for many positions, which makes them feel lost and frustrated. Finally, some graduates are conceited. They lack experience but ask for a high salary, which is impractical. So, university students should try their best to change this situation. When they are in school, they should make the most of their time and put their heart into their studies. They can hold part-time jobs in their spare time to accumulate relevant work experience. They should take part in some social activities and provide themselves with special training, if possible. When they graduate and apply for jobs, they should attach more importance to accumulating experience than to their starting salary. On University Students’ Pressure in Finding Jobs About a decade ago, university students could find satisfactory and enviable jobs after their graduation. But now, things are different. Todays university students usually have much pressure in finding fairly good jobs. They always say disappointedly that graduation means joblessness. Why nowadays university students have so much pressure in finding jobs? In my opinion, this kind of pressure is mainly caused by three reasons. Firstly, the government is enrolling more and more university students year by year. And the growth of the students number has surpassed that of the need of the society. So, when so many students graduate at a time, the chance of finding jobs becomes tiny. Secondly, todays university students, most of them are the only-child, who are more mentally frail. Since they are indulged greatly at home and havent been trained to do things on their own, once it is their turn to go out of the campus and find jobs by themselves and decide what kind of jobs to choose, they feel bewil
dered and dont know what to do. If their first try fails, they will be frustrated and think that it is really hard to find jobs. Thirdly, some university students are not qualified for good and challenging jobs. After entering the university, they dont study as hard as they did in high schools. They begin to sleep during the class or even be absent for classes. Some are addicted to computer games or Jin Yongs novels, or step into the two-person-world too early. Because these things have taken up so much of their time and energy, their study is neglected. After four years of university life, they havent gained the knowledge those fairly good jobs or certain positions require.
5:College Pressure
I see two kinds of pressure working on college students today: economic pressure, parental pressure. It is easy to look around for rebels — to blame the colleges for charging too much money, the parents for pushing them too far. But there are no rebels, only victims. The pressure is heavy on students who just want to graduate and get a job. If I were an employer I would rather employ graduates who have this range and curiosity than those who narrowly pursued safe subjects and high grades. I know incalculable students whose inquiring minds cheer me. I like to hear the play of their ideas. I don’t know if they are getting A or C, and I don’t care. I also like them as people. The country needs them, and they will find satisfying jobs. I tell them to relax, but they can’t. Nor can I blame them. They live in a brutal economy. Today it is not unusual for a student, even if he works part time at college and full time during the summer, to increase to 5, 000 in loans after graduation.Encouraged at commencement to go forth into the world, he is already behind as he goes forth. How could he not feel under pressure throughout college to prepare for this day of reckoning?
Along with economic pressure goes parental pressure. Inevitably, the two are deeply integrated.
Poor students! They are caught in one of the oldest webs of love and duty and guilt. The parents mean well: they are trying to steer their sons and daughters toward a secure future. But the sons and daughters want to major in history or classics or philosophy—subjects with no “practical” value. Where’s the payoff on the humanities? It’s not easy to persuade such loving parents that the humanities do indeed pay off. The intellectual faculties developed by studying subjects like history and classics are just the faculties that make creative leaders in business or almost any general field.
Luckily for me, most of them got into their field by an indirect route, to their surprise, after many roundabout ways. They can hardly conceive of a career that was not preplanned. They can hardly imagine allowing the hand of God or chance to nudge them down some unforeseen trail.
