学校生活 My School Life

My school life is very common. I get up at six o’clock every morningfrom Monday to Friday. And the I would go running with my classmates, as our head teacher says health is themost important thing. After running I have to do morning exercises on theplayground. Then I can have breakfast. Having breakfast, I need to have morningreading. Oh, I almost forget that all of the students have to do some cleaningbefore breakfast. There come the various classes. Then noon comes. Havinglunch, I will go to sleep. I often read twenty minutes before I fall asleep. I haveclass in the afternoon. And I still have classes at night. It’s boring, right? ButI have got used to it and enjoy myself at school.

Is Money Everything?

At present some people think that money is everything. They say that you can do everything if you have money. You can live in a beautiful house, keep a luxurious ear and have all sorts of delicious food.

I don‘t think so. Indeed, money can buy a lot of things we need. But there are many, many wonderful things in the world that cannot be bough/; with money.

For example, knowledge cannot be bought with money. One cannot be rich in knowledge unless he studies hard. Time cannot be bought with money, either. Who can buy even a second with money?

There are still many other things that cannot be bought with money: health,life, happiness,friendship, love and so on. Just think, if a person hasn‘t these things at all, is the money still useful?

近来，有些人认为钱就是一切，他们说，要是有了钱，你就可以做任何事情，你可以住舒适的房子，坐豪华的轿车，吃可口的饭菜。

例如，知识是买不来的，一个人要想获得丰富的知识，只有通过艰苦的学习。时间用钱也是买不来的，谁能用钱买来哪怕一秒钟的时间呢?

还有很多东西是钱买不到的，比如健康、生命、快乐、友谊、爱情等等，试想，一个人要是连这些东西都没有，那光有钱又有什么用呢?

More and more young couples get married very quickly, they believe in strong feelings and want to be together forever, as the time goes by, their conflicts can’t reconcile, so they have to end their marriage. In my opinion, marriage is not a joke, people need to get to know each other well before they marry. Lightning marriage is not a good choice, because it needs time to get to know others, to see whether the two people are suitable to live together. They should think twice before act.

在旧中国，人们的婚姻是由他们的父母决定的，因此大多数夫妻在结婚前都没有见过面，随着社会的发展，人们要求有自由和权利去选择他们的伴侣。因此今天，人们可以由自己的意愿去选择他们的另一半，但是离婚率却逐年在增长。越来越多的情侣快速结婚，他们相信强烈的感觉，想要永远在一起，随着时间的流逝，他们的矛盾无法协调，所以选择去结束婚姻。在我看来，婚姻不是玩笑，人们需要在结婚前彼此相互了解。闪婚不是一个好的选择，因为了解一个人是需要时间的，去看看两个人是否合适住在一起。人们应该三思而熟虑。
